These single pulse battery spot welders are an affordable solution for businesses interested in welding batteries and packs. Capacitive discharge welders offer high peak currents with extremely fast pulse rise times (10's of µs). CD welding produces repeatable fusion welds independent of line voltage fluctuations and is capable of extremely fine energy adjustment.
Capacitive welding has the advantage of quick energy release, and manageable energy input. This means that welds occur fast enough that fuse spots are small and make very small heat effected zones. The welder can be operated on standard household voltage and powers. Battery manufacturers that require spot welders for battery tab welding and battery pack assembly will benefit from these small battery welders because of the clean, fast, and easy operation- ideal for welding battery packs, tabs, and contacts. We have two welders to choose from: 120 watt-seconds and 240 watt-seconds versions, and three package options with each welder: a hand held weld attachment, a 3-in-1 mounting package, and an air-actuated pneumatic weld head system.
